What an evening. At this year's awards ceremony for the FRETI Awards at the Tip Berlin Media Group, our founder and CEO Felix Bünning had the honor of accepting the evening's highest distinction – the FRETI Award 2026.
What is the FRETI Award?
FRETI stands for Future Real Estate & Tech Initiative and is a growing network of leaders and corporate partners who aim to positively transform the real estate industry – towards a more diverse, innovative, and future-oriented sector.
The FRETI Award annually recognizes 20 ambitious individuals from the real estate and PropTech sectors who embody exactly that: people who don't just talk about change, but actively drive it forward.
An Evening Full of Inspiration
The evening kicked off with two powerful keynotes: Caroline Oelmann, Managing Director of Berlinovo, opened the program, before Dr. Marcus Cieleback, Professor of Real Estate Management and Chief Urban Economist at PATRIZIA SE, enriched the evening with further insights.
In between: a fishbowl discussion on the topic of Breaking the Glass Ceiling – New Perspectives on Leadership and Career with Klaus Hirt (Partner Drees & Sommer), Carolin Hegenbarth (Managing Director IVD), Ulrike Janssen (Managing Director LEG), and Carina Hahn (Managing Director Olymp Consulting). Open discussions, clear stances – and a genuine awareness of what the industry still needs to achieve.
This was followed by the festive awards ceremony, where Felix had the honor of accepting the highest distinction.
