To overcome the climate crisis, we need solutions that can be implemented quickly. Reducing heat consumption in every European building by 30% would reduce the continent's total energy demand and CO2 emissions by around 10%. It takes technologies and successful companies to bring about rapid change.
viboo is based on years of research at Empa and ETH Zurich as well as at other world-leading laboratories for building automation, such as RWTH Aachen and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. With our team, we have won numerous grants and awards, such as the BRIDGE Scholarship, all Venture Kick levels, the Gebert Rüf Foundation Innobooster, the Swiss GreenTech Startup Battle, the Empa Innovation Award and the ETH Medal. We are #49 of the TOP 100 startups in Switzerland and #2 in the proptech sector.
Our management team combines complementary skills and experience. Felix Bünning (CEO) and Benjamin Huber (CTO) have co-developed the platform's algorithms, while Matthias Sulzer (Chairman of the Board of Directors), as an experienced energy expert and entrepreneur, contributes a wide range of skills.
